The keel for this unit was laid in 1913, the launch took place in December 1914, and entry into service in Kaiserliche Marine took place in 1915. The length of the ship was 62.6 meters and a width of 6.2 meters. Full displacement reached approx. 420 tons, and maximum speed - approx. 28-29 knots. In 1925, it was armed with two 75 mm guns, two 450 mm torpedo tubes and two machine guns. ORP Kaszub was originally called V-108 and was built for the Dutch Navy at the AG Vulcan shipyard in Szczecin. However, at the outbreak of World War I, it was taken over by the German Kaiserliche Marine. After entering service, the unit performed active service in the Baltic Sea, including: taking part in the battle of Liepaja in May 1915. In 1916, she was reclassified as a training ship and survived in this role until the end of World War I. After the war, the ship first found its way to Great Britain, from where it came to Poland. It entered the Polish Navy in 1921. Unfortunately, in July 1925, an explosion took place at ORP Kaszub, as a result of which the unit broke in two and sank
