Alexander Nevsky is a Soviet armored train from World War II. The composition, along with the Suvorov armored train, belonged to the 25th Separate Armored Train Division, which was formed in the city of Ufa in the USSR at the turn of 1941/1942, shortly after the Soviet counter-offensive from Moscow. The Alexander Nevsky train consisted mainly of an armored Ov locomotive (armor was up to 40 mm) and four armored carriages (armor - up to 15 mm). The armament consisted mainly of the Polish 75 mm guns captured in September 1939 and the 7.62 mm DSzK machine guns. There was also a platform wagon with anti-aircraft weapons with a double DSzK rifle. In the summer of 1942, the 25th Separated Division was directed to the defense of Stalingrad, during which the Suvorov armored train was seriously damaged, and Alexander Nevsky - due to a locomotive failure and damage - was abandoned by the crew and taken over by the Germans.
