Heckler und Koch 416 (abbreviated: HK 416) is a modern 5.56 mm German automatic carbine. The first copies of this rifle appeared at the beginning of the 21st century, but the weapon entered mass production in 2005 and remains in it today. The weapon - in the basic version - with the stock extended, measures 78.5 cm, and the weight of the rifle itself is 3.31 kg. The theoretical rate of fire is up to 900 rounds / min. The HK 416 was developed primarily for the needs of the American armed forces, which sought to complement and replace the M4 and M16 rifles in some of their units with weapons of higher ballistic parameters, but structurally as close as possible to their predecessors. As a result, the scale of the Heckler und Koch company focused primarily on the use of a new gas system, replacing the one used in the M4 / M16 rifles with the one known from the HK G36 rifle. It also introduced other design changes. Finally, a rifle with very good ballistic parameters, with a much higher reliability and better suited to operation in difficult conditions was created. It is worth noting that HK 416 was also used by Polish special forces GROM units, the Military Commando Unit, AGAT units and NIL units. It is also used by the BOA (Bureau of Anti-Terrorist Operations). The carbine was used by French special forces.US Navy SEAL (full name: United States Navy Sea, Air and Land) is the name of a special unit serving within the United States Navy. It was formed by a special order of President John F. Kennedy in May 1961, but it dates back to the World War II special unit of the US Navy called UDT (UDT). Underwater Demolition Team). Originally soldiers US Navy SEALs were trained primarily to operate in the aquatic and semi-terrestrial environment, with particular emphasis on the control of enemy ships and ships. Currently, it is a versatile special unit also used in land and surface-air operations. It is also used in anti-terrorist activities or to conduct the so-called special reconnaissance. Each soldier of the formation must undergo a very demanding 41-week training, after which he receives the so-called SEAL trident. Soldiers of this formation took part in many conflicts, including: the Vietnam War (1964 / 1965-1975), both the Persian Gulf Wars (1990-1991 and 2003) or the operations in Afghanistan (from 2001).
