WM-15A - POLSKA WSPÓŁCZESNA DREZYNA MOTOROWA

The WM-15 is a motor trolley or motor trolley, which was produced in the years 1977-1996 by Zakłady Dyrekcja Toru Kolejowego in Stargard Szczeciński. In total, about 550 rail vehicles of this type were built. The service weight - depending on the version - is from 20 to 25.5 tons, and the total length - 12.45 meters, with a width of 2.8 meters. The design speed is 80 km / h. The WM-15 was produced as a possibly cheap in operation and construction motor carriage intended for broadly understood repair and maintenance works on railway lines. The trolley makes it possible not only to transport various types of materials, but also allows the installation of additional devices, e.g. a small crane. Two main versions were created in the course of production: WM-15A (basic version) and WM-15P (version for network emergency service with a basket boom). The WM-15 draisine is operated, among others, by PKP Linie Kolejowe and PKP Intercity.
