The Ford Tf-c (another designation: Ford FT-B) is a Polish light armored car from the interwar period, produced in 1920. In total, about 15-20 units of this vehicle were built. The car was powered by a single 22.5 HP Ford T engine. The armament was a single 7.92 mm Maxim machine gun. It was the first armored car of Polish production in the history of the Polish Army. Ford Tf-c was developed by Eng. Tadeusz Tański on the chassis of a Ford T passenger car (hence the vehicle designation). However, it was modernized and adapted to the needs of the military. An armored engine compartment and crew compartment were also built. The pace of work was phenomenal, because only two weeks passed from the initial designs to the first prototype! The Ford Tf-c successfully participated in the Battle of Warsaw in 1920 with various units. It was not until the 1920s that the 1st column of light armored cars was formed on the basis of the Ford Tf-c. By 1931, almost all vehicles of this type were withdrawn from the line.
