The Mowag Panzerattrappe was a Swiss training vehicle and target vehicle from the Cold War period. The vehicle was powered by a single Dodge T-137 engine with 103 hp, which allowed it to accelerate to 57 km / h. The car did not have any fixed weapons. The Mowag Panzerattrappe was originally designed as a wheeled reconnaissance vehicle, and its chassis and suspension were based on the Mowag T1 truck and featured all-wheel drive for good off-road maneuverability. However, in the course of design work, the Swiss army decided to reclassify the vehicle into a target vehicle, intended for training small arms or anti-tank missiles, and later also for exercises with ATGMs. The car, after appropriate adaptation to the new role, was produced in the years 1954-1987. In total, about 240 vehicles of this type were built. One surviving copy is on display in the museum in Full-Reuenthal.
