The MAN Lion's Coach is the name of a family of German coaches that was first presented to the public in 1996. Its serial production started in the same year and is still ongoing at the Ankara plant in Turkey. The MAN Lion's Coach series of coaches was developed and put into production to replace the FRH 422 model in the company's offer and as a cheaper and less complex alternative to the Lion's Star series. So far, three generations of coaches of this series have been created. The first generation was made in the number of about 2,300 vehicles and was produced in two main versions: MAN A13 (basic version) and MAN A32 (higher standard version). Both versions were available only in a body length of 12 meters. In 2002, the second generation entered production, which had a changed design and two new lengths: 13.26 and 13.8 meters. In 2017, the third generation of Lion's Coach coaches was presented, with the addition of another available length - 13.09 meters. The design was also improved, and the power unit underwent minor changes.
