STAR 28/29 WYWROTKA - POLSKI SAMOCHÓD CIĘŻAROWY Z 1964 ROKU

Star 28/29 is a Polish road truck manufactured by Fabryka Samochodowych (FSC) "Star" in Starachowice. The first copies of this vehicle were built in 1968, and serial production continued in 1968-1983 (Star 29) and 1968-89 (Star 28). The vehicle was powered by two different power units: the 100 HP S530A1 diesel engine (Star 28) and the 105 HP S47A gasoline engine (Star 29). Star 28/29 is a Polish truck which is an intermediate structure between the Star 25 and Star 27 cars and the Star 200 car. Compared to their predecessors, the new cars, differing only in the drive unit, had more powerful engines, modernized gearboxes and reinforced suspension. They also received a new driver's cabin, developed in cooperation with the French company Chausson, which ensured high comfort for the driver. The disadvantages of this type of car were the steering system that required a lot of force and a hard-to-operate brake and clutch pedal. Several versions of the Star 28-29 car appeared in the course of serial production, including: Star C28 (truck tractor), Star Ż28 (truck crane), Star BW28 (tipper truck).
