OKRĘT PATROLOWY PROJEKTU 10410 "AŁMAZ"

Project 10410 (NATO code: Svetljak) is the name of a modern Russian series of patrol ships. The first unit of this type entered service in 1988. The displacement of a single ship of this type is 375 tons, length - 49.5 meters, and width - 9.2 meters. However, the maximum speed does not exceed 30 knots. The deck armament consists of a single 76.2 mm AK-176M cannon or a single 30 mm AK-630M set. Project 10410 units were designed as multi-purpose ships, intended primarily for coastal patrols, but also for operations further away from their own shores. Their equipment and armament allow them to engage in combat or to engage both surface and - to a lesser extent - underwater and air targets. The ships also have the same seaworthiness as this class of ship. Based on Project 10410, two very similar types of ships were also created: Project 10411 and Project 10412. The first one has more extensive possibilities of destroying surface targets, and the second one is an export version equipped with engines from the German company MTU. Project 10410 and two related units serve in the navies of countries such as Russia, Slovenia and Vietnam.
