The HL-2 Haroldek was a Polish prototype sports plane with a wooden structure, in the arrangement of a high-wing fixed landing gear, from the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single radial motor Anzani 3A2 with a power of 35 HP. The plane was first flown in 1927, but it did not enter mass production. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The HL-2 Haroldek was the first airplane constructed independently by the Polish engineer Józef Medwecki. The machine was built to a large extent in an amateur and cottage manner, and a group of the constructor's friends were involved in the cycle of its construction. The prototype for the HL-2 was the design of the HL-1 aircraft, which, however, was never flown. The main purpose for which the HL-2 was built was to participate in the First National Avionette Competition, but as a result of the breakdown, the machine did not take part in the competition, and the plane itself (the only one built) was destroyed in a car accident when it was being transported from Warsaw to Poznań .
