ORP General Haller was a Polish gunboat, initially built for tsarist Russia from the interwar period and World War II. The keel for this unit was laid in 1916, and the launch took place in 1918. The unit was commissioned in April 1921. The total length of the ship at the time of launching was 50.04 meters and a width of 6.92 meters. Standard displacement was around 350 tons and the maximum speed was around 14.5 knots. The armament consisted of 2 75mm guns and 4 machine guns. ORP General Haller was initially built at the shipyard in Turku in today's Finland for the Russian Baltic Fleet. However, the unit was captured by the Finns in 1917, and in 1920 bought back by the resurgent Polish Navy. After the Polish side purchased the gunboat, together with ORP Naczelnik Piłsudski, she co-founded Grupa Kanonierek. Relatively soon, the unit began to play the role of a training ship. ORP General Haller took part in the September campaign, but was sunk as a result of the actions of the German air force on September 6, 1939.
