T.12 (other designation: OKi2 or BR74.4-13 or Baureihe 74.4-13) is a series of steam locomotives (steam locomotives) that were produced in the period 1902-1921 by the German company Borsig based in Berlin. The length of a single locomotive was 11.8 meters, and the service weight - 65.9 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 1500 mm, and the locomotive had 1'C h2t axles. A total of 1,014 locomotives of this type were built. The T.12 series steam locomotives were commissioned by German railways and were dedicated to the Berlin suburban railway before it was fully electrified. Hence, the locomotive was adapted to rather small mileages, it did not take much coal or water in the tender. However, an efficient, steam twin engine for superheated steam was used as the drive, which was similar to the engines mounted on the T.11 locomotives. In general, both these designs - the T.11 and T.12 - were very similar to each other, although they were manufactured by other manufacturers. After 1918, 12 locomotives of this type (T.12) were taken over by PKP, which changed their designations to OKi2. After World War II, some of these locomotives returned to the PKP rolling stock. At present, there are three OKi2 / T.12 locomotives in our country.
