Px29 (another designation: Wp29) is a series of narrow-gauge steam locomotives (steam locomotives), which were manufactured in 1929 at the plants of Warszawska Spółka Akcyjna Budowy Parowozów (in short: WSABP). The length of the locomotive (without the tender) is 7 m and a width of 2.18 m. The service weight was 21.8 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 750 mm, and the axles were constructed in the D system. In total, 21 locomotives of this type were built. The Px29 steam locomotive was commissioned by the Ministry of Transport and was dedicated primarily to servicing connections in then-eastern Poland, e.g. in the Vilnius region. The first copies turned out to be successful constructions, which were characterized by simplicity of operation and maintenance and a smooth running of the train. Most of the "childhood diseases" were also quickly eliminated. A large number of Px29 locomotives were adapted to tracks with a width of 750 mm, but some were adapted to operate on tracks with a gauge of 760 mm. After World War II, PKP had 11 locomotives of this type, which were used until the end of the 1970s. After 1945, the Px48 steam locomotive was also developed on the basis of the Px29.
