P3.1 (other designation: Oc1) is a series of steam locomotives (steam locomotives) that were produced in the period 1884-1907 by many German companies, including: Henschel, Vulcan or Borsig. The length of a single locomotive (with a tender) was from 14.79 to 15.25 meters, and the service weight - 36.7 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 1750 mm, and the locomotive had 1B axles. The P3.1 steam locomotives were custom-built by the German KPEV (German Koenglich Preussische Eisenbahn Verwaltung) railway lines and were constructed by numerous companies, but they had the same components and were highly standardized. They were dedicated primarily to hauling passenger trains on secondary regional lines with low capacity. In total, 783 P3.1 locomotives were built, with the main users being the KPEV lines. Just before the outbreak of World War I, they began to be withdrawn from service. After the end of the war, a dozen or so copies were sent to the Polish PKP, where they received the designation Oc1.
