Simara Ace is a modern Swedish passenger ferry that was launched in 2007. The length of the vessel is 60.4 meters with a width of 11.4 meters. The maximum speed is 14-15 knots, and the ferry crew is 10 people. Simara Ace was built in the Northern Shipyard in Gdańsk, by designed by the Danish design bureau Knud E. Hansen AS, designated as project 1064. Simara Ace, together with its twin ship Siluna Ace, is designed to transport passengers between the Danish city of Helsingor and the Swedish city of Helsingborg. Simara Ace is able to carry up to 388 passengers at a time, providing them with relatively high travel comfort. The unit is very modern - it has advanced navigation equipment, a very efficient fire protection system and a highly computerized and automated unit management system. Simara Ace also has the so-called bow thruster, which facilitates the vessel's maneuvers in the port.
