T9.1 (another designation: TKi1) is a series of steam locomotives (steam locomotives) that were produced in the period 1892-1901 by several German companies, including: Henschel, Borsig and Union. The length of a single locomotive was 11.32 meters, and the service weight - 54.5 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 1,350 mm, and the locomotive had C1 'axles. The T9.1 steam locomotives were designed to drive light freight and passenger trains, and over time were also used as shunting locomotives. The main recipients of these steam locomotives were the German KPEV (German Koenglich Preussische Eisenbahn Verwaltung) railway lines, although the T9.1 was also used by other carriers. It is worth noting that the units produced in different plants could differ quite significantly from each other - for example, in the braking system used. During World War I, the T9.1 steam locomotives were intensively used, and after the end of the war, 46 were returned to Poland as reparations. In PKP (only in 1926) they received the designation TKi1. Only 4 locomotives of this type survived the next World War in Poland.
