Jelcz GCBA 13/48 is a specialist fire truck of Polish production from the post-war period. The length of the wagon is approx. 7.25 m, with a width of approx. 2.5 m and a total weight of 32 tons. The drive is provided by a single, 6-cylinder Leyland engine with a maximum power of up to 243 HP. The top speed does not exceed 75 km / h. The Jelcz GCBA 13/48 fire truck was constructed on the basis of the chassis and many mechanical components of the Jelcz W-640 truck, in cooperation with the Steyr-Daimler-Puch AG company. The car was adapted to transport 4 crew members in the passenger cabin. It was also equipped with a Rosenbauer 480 autopump with a capacity of up to 4,800 liters per minute. The vehicle is adapted to the most autonomous firefighting operations possible, but also has the possibility of close coordination with other fire vehicles.
