The Messerschmitt Me 329 was a project of a German heavy fighter and fighter-bomber from the Second World War. The drive was to be provided by two Daimler Benz DB603G engines with 1,874 HP each. The deck armament was supposed to consist of four cannons: either the 30mm Mk.108 or the 20mm MG151. The plane was to be able to carry a load of bombs weighing at least 1000 kilograms. The machine has never been tested, much less entered mass production. The Messerschmitt Me 329 was developed at the end of World War II as an extension of the Me 265 design and to replace the Me 410 in the lineup. slightly more power, but they powered the push propellers, not the pull propellers. Moreover, the construction of the Me 329 was planned to use much more wooden elements than the Me 410. It was also assumed that the Me 329 would have many roles: night fighter, daytime heavy fighter, bomber plane and reconnaissance machine. However, by the end of World War II, only a single, wooden mock-up of the Me 329 had probably been developed.
