The T-33 is a Soviet prototype floating tank from the interwar period. Prototypes of this car were made in 1931. The car, however, never entered mass production. The drive was provided by a single engine with a maximum power of 97 HP. The total length of the wagon was 3.8 meters with a width of 2.1 meters. The tank was armed with a single 7.62mm DT machine gun. The Soviet T-33 tank was developed under a very strong influence of similar structures being built in Great Britain, and more precisely - at the Vickers Carden-Lloyd plant. It was assumed that the new tank would be quite buoyant and would be able to overcome water obstacles such as rivers or lakes without any preparation. For this reason, the tank had two floats made of wood and cork, and a single propeller at the rear of the car. After undergoing tests in 1932, the car performed well in water, but it showed many mechanical imperfections. For this reason, its production was abandoned, and on the basis of this tank, work began on the T-37 and T-41 vehicles.
