Nysa 521/522 is a Polish delivery truck from the post-war period. It was first presented to the public in 1968 at the Poznań International Fair - it also entered mass production in the same year. Its production was the responsibility of Zakłady Samochodniczych based in Nysa. The curb weight of the vehicle - depending on the body version - ranged from 1,380 to 1,560 kilograms, and the load capacity was up to 850 kilograms. The length of the car was up to 4.55 meters with a wheelbase of 2.7 meters. M-20 and S-21 engines with a power of 50 and 70 HP respectively were used as the drive. The Nysa 521/522 was developed on the basis of the Nysa 501 and 503 cars (especially the first one), de facto being their far-reaching modernization. The shape of the passenger compartment has been changed in the new car, a new bonnet and bumpers have been used: front and rear. Efforts were also made to increase travel comfort and driving safety - for example, a more modern seat belt fastening system was introduced. A new electrical installation was used. The car was produced in several body versions, including: van, towos or minibus. There were also specialized versions, e.g. an ambulance or a police car for the Citizens' Militia.
