CWS T-1 was a Polish luxury passenger car from the interwar period. The presentation of the model took place in 1925, and in 1927 mass production began, which lasted until 1931. The car was powered by a single, 3-liter 4-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 61 HP. The engine was synchronized with a 4-speed manual gearbox. The production was carried out by the CWS (Centralne Warsztaty Samochodowe) plants in Warsaw, and from 1928 - PZInż. CWS T-1 was designed by Eng. Tadeusz Tański, and later a significant contribution to its development was made by Eng. Władysław Mrajski. It was assumed that the new car would be a luxury vehicle, dedicated to an affluent client, with the possibility of exporting cars to the Western European market. However, the Great Depression of 1929, as well as the signing of a license agreement with the Italian company FIAT for the production of the Polish Fiat 508 (1931) forced the cessation of production. About 800 cars of this type were produced in its course, in various body versions. In addition to strictly passenger vehicles, there was also a sanitary ambulance, as well as postal and PKO ambulances.
