The K-Wagen was a German heavy tank (sometimes classified as a super-heavy tank) of the First World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were built in 1917, and by September 1918, 2 or 3 copies of this car had been partially completed. The tank was powered by two Daimler V6 engines with 650hp. The armament consisted of 4 77 mm guns and 7 7.92 mm MG08 machine guns. Tank K-Wagen was created in connection with the desire of the German army to have a heavy tank, much heavy and better armed than the A7V. Finally, the tank reached a weight of 120 tons (originally it was supposed to weigh as much as 165 tons!), 13 meters long and 6 meters wide. By World War I standards, the vehicle received very good armor, up to 30 mm thick. The vehicle was so heavy and so large that it would have to be transported to the battlefield in parts, which significantly reduced its flexibility and combat capabilities. K-Wagen tanks were never used in combat.
