The Focke Wulf Ta-154 is a German twin-engine fighter and night fighter with a fully mixed high-wing design from the end of World War II. The flight of the prototype took place in the summer of 1943, and the plane entered production a year later. Depending on the version, it was powered by two Jumo 211F engines (1340HP each) or two Jumo 211N engines with 1500HP each. The Ta-154 was to be the answer for the British de Havilland Mosquito. Unfortunately, due to numerous shortcomings of the structure and the lack of major air successes, it was eventually considered a failed design. During the war, three main mass-produced versions of this aircraft were created. The Ta-154A was produced as a day fighter with numerous upgrades, only the A-4 was a night fighter. The situation with the Ta-154B was similar. The Ta-154C-1 sub-version (only the serial one produced from this version) was a night fighter with the new Jumo 211N engines. It has been extended by about 76 cm. Technical data (version Ta-154A-1): length: 12.55m, wingspan: 16.3m, height: 3.6m, maximum speed: 615km / h, rate of climb: 15m / s, maximum range: 1400km, ceiling maximum 9500m, armament: fixed-4 cannons MG151 and MK108 30mm.
