WOT-3 TRACTOR

The Fordson WOT-3 is a British military truck from World War II. The first prototypes of these cars appeared in 1939 - the production of serine started in the same year, which continued until 1944. Approximately 18,000 trucks of this type were built in its course. The total weight of the cart was 2.95 tons, its length - 5.77 meters, with a width of 2.18 meters. The drive was provided by a single 85 HP engine. The Fordson WOT-3 was developed at the beginning of World War II as one of the series of trucks intended for the British Army. Interestingly, the WOT vehicles were designed from the beginning as cars intended for the armed forces, and their production took place at the Ford plant in Dagenham, hence the term Fordson. The WOT-3 truck was produced for the use of the British Army and the RAF and was primarily used by the British Air Force. The car was produced in many body styles and specialized versions, including a classic truck with an open cargo space, a repair car or a tractor with a shortened wheelbase.
