The Lanz Bulldog D 9506 was a German wheeled tractor that was first presented to the public in the early 1930s. Its serial production lasted from 1934 to 1955, with a break in 1945. The vehicle was powered by a single, single cylinder 10.1 liter engine with a maximum power of 45 HP. The engine was synchronized with a 3-speed manual gearbox. The Bulldog D 9506 model was developed in order to extend the offer of Lanz AG with a relatively light tractor. The vehicle was characterized by high ease of use, very low operating costs, versatility and overall strength of the entire structure. The tractor of this type was also used by the German armed forces during World War II as light artillery tractors, transport vehicles, and especially as army provisioning vehicles. They were very often used for towing mobile field kitchens. It is worth adding that after World War II it was one of the captured Lanz Bulldog D 9506 tractors that was used to create the Polish Ursus C-45 tractor.
