Dwarves or Dwarfs are a fictional race of creatures that is confirmed in folklore mainly in Norse and Germanic mythology, but also in folklore of western and northern Europe, dating back to the medieval period. Nowadays, dwarves appear in many movies and in the pages of fantasy novels. If one were to generalize, it can be said that the dwarves are depicted as humanoid figures with two arms and legs, being externally very similar to humans, except for a height that rarely exceeds 150 centimeters. At the same time, dwarves are physically very strong and stocky, with much better developed muscles than humans. They often have long, waist-length beards. At the same time, they are an honorary race, excelling in craftsmanship and blacksmithing. On the battlefield, they are tough and brave warriors, well-armed with defensive weapons, most often fighting with axes and war hammers. It is worth adding that most often, dwarves in various universes live in mines and live and work there. In the world Tolkien created in The Lord of the Rings, Moria (Khazad-dum) was the largest and most magnificent dwarf abode.
