The PZL P.7a is a Polish, single-engine, full-metal fighter with Puławski wings, a fixed landing gear and a classic tail from the Second World War. The drive was a Bristol Jupiter VII F engine with a power of 480HP. The flight of the prototype took place in October 1930, and serial production continued in 1932-1933, ending with the creation of 149 aircraft. PZL P.7a was the first fighter in Polish aviation with an all-metal structure, at the time of its introduction it was also one of the most modern fighters in the world. At the outbreak of the war, 105 PZL P.7a were still in the line. During the September campaign, min. as part of the Pursuit Brigade. Despite the mistakes made during the operation, the PZL P.7a managed to achieve a dozen or so air victories. After the defeat of Poland, some of the surviving planes were evacuated to Romania, which took them over. PZL P.7a served there until 1943.
