Baureihe 3.10 (another designation: Pm3) is a series of steam locomotives (steam locomotives), which were produced in the period 1939-1941 by three German companies: Borsig, Krupp and Kraus-Maffei. The length of a single locomotive (with a tender) was 23.9 meters, and the service weight - 179.1 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 2000 mm, and the locomotive had 2'C1 'axles (in White's notation: 2-3-1). In total, 60 locomotives of this type were built. The Baureihe 3.10 steam locomotives were designed to run fast and express passenger trains mainly in Germany. This determined the achievement of the highest possible rated power and a high top speed, which reached 150 km / h in serial models. In the course of World War II, for ease of maintenance, the partial aerodynamic cover was removed for ease of maintenance. After 1945, nine Baureihe 3.10 were delivered to the Polish State Railways (PKP), where they received the designation Pm3. The last Pm3 locomotive was deleted from the carrier's inventory in 1968.
