The Morane Saulnier MS.410 was a French fighter aircraft from the Second World War in the low wing design. The drive was provided by a single engine Hispano-Suiza 12Y-31 with 860 hp. The prototype flight took place in early 1940. The on-board armament consisted of a single 20mm Hispano-Suiza HS.404 cannon and four 7.5mm MAC M-39 machine guns. The MS.410 was developed as an extension of another Morane Saulnier design: the MS.406 fighter. The changes mainly concerned the reinforcement of the aircraft structure, especially the wings, as well as the significant reinforcement of the on-board armament. The French air force had placed an order for 500 MS.410 aircraft shortly before the German invasion of May 1940, but none of them entered the line before the fighting began. After the capitulation of France in June 1940, a dozen or so copies were given by the Germans to their allies: Finland and Croatia.
