Papegojan (pl. Parrot) is a Swedish pinas, made in a Dutch shipyard from the first half of the 17th century. The vessel was built at the beginning of the 1720s, and was incorporated into the Swedish Navy in 1624. The ship was armed mainly with 14 3-pounder cannons and 2 5-pounder cannons. The total length of the sailing ship was 35 meters and a width of about 6.5 meters. The presented vessel was purchased by order of the King of Sweden Gustav II Adolf in 1623, and it reached Sweden in 1624, i.e. almost on the eve of the Swedish-Polish war of 1626-1629. The unit took an active part in this war, inter alia, participating in the naval blockade of Gdańsk and in the battle of Oliwa (1627). In 1628, he again operated in the waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk, and in 1629 he took part in the blockade of the port in Wismar. The vessel was sunk at the end of the Thirty Years' War - in 1644.
