The American town of Baltimore is located in the state of Maryland on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. The so-called Baltimore clippers, i.e. 1- and 2-mast sailing vessels of relatively small size, but high speed. It is worth adding that in the course of the US Independence War (1776-1783), the port of Baltimore played a significant role. Incidentally, I can add that at the moment Helen Delich Bentley Port Baltimore is one of the most important transshipment ports on the US east coast.
