The Nissan Bluebird is a Japanese middle class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1957. Its serial production started in 1957 and lasted until 2001! Nissan Bluebird was one of the longest-produced cars in Japan, and during the entire series production it saw as many as 14 generations! It was also one of the first mass-produced cars in Japan after 1945, still under the Datsun brand, and one of the first Japanese cars to achieve considerable success on international markets. Its main competitor on the domestic market was Toyota Corona / Crown. The last, 14th generation of the Bluebird model was put into production in 1996 and was manufactured at the Yokosuce plant in Japan. It was offered only as a 4-door sedan, and the range of engines included 1.8-2 liter units. It is worth adding that Nissan Bluebird in subsequent generations competed in car races, often with success.
