The Mazda 323 is a Japanese compact car that was first presented to the public in 1977. Its serial production started in the same year and continued until 2003. In its course, the model was manufactured in several cities around the world - primarily at the Hiroshima plant in Japan. The 323 was an export version of the Mazda Familia car, which was quite successful on the domestic Japanese market. Compared to its predecessor, it differed in small construction details, but the general construction assumptions and style remained almost unchanged. Mazda 323 was offered in various body versions, including: sedan, coupe, hatchback and station wagon. The range of engines was also wide and made it possible to choose a gasoline or diesel unit with a capacity of 1.0 to 2.0 liters. Six generations of the Mazda 323 appeared in the course of serial production, the last of which was produced in 1998-2003. In the offer of Mazda Motor Corporation it was replaced by the model 3.
