The Messerschmitt Me T (another term: Messerschmitt Zerstörer Entwurf II) was a German heavy jet fighter project from the end of World War II. The propulsion was probably to be provided by two Heinkel He S 011 jet engines. The on-board armament was probably to consist of two Mk.108 cal. 30 cannons. The machine was never tested, much less entered serial production. The Messerschmitt Me T project assumed the creation of a heavy jet fighter with a highly aerodynamic shape, with oblique wings and a T-shaped vertical stabilizer. The new machine was also to have a cockpit fairing integrated into the outline of the fuselage. It is worth noting that, unlike, for example, the Me-262, the engines were intended to be placed inside the fighter, and not in the under-wing nacelles, which would reduce air resistance. It was assumed that the Me T's main opponent was to be Allied strategic bombers. The plane never got past the loose design stage, and there are indications that some of the Me T documentation was seized by the US military.
