The Deutz D 30 is a light, 4-wheel tractor from the post-war period of West German production. The length of the vehicle in the basic version was 3.04 m, 1.6 m wide and almost the same height. The wheelbase was 1.9 meters. The drive was provided by a single Deutz engine F2L712 or Deutz F2L812. The tractor's curb weight did not exceed 1.3 tons, and the maximum speed was up to 20 km / h. Tractor Deutz D 30 was produced by the Deutz AG plants based in Cologne in the years 1961-1965. It is assumed that a total of approx. 35,000 tractors of this type were built. In the offer of the Deutz company, the D 30 replaced the D 25 model, in relation to which it differed primarily in a significantly modernized engine with increased maximum power and improved work culture, as well as the use of several mechanical improvements - especially in the field of braking systems. The Deutz D 30 tractor achieved a considerable success on the market due to its high reliability, small size, relatively low purchase costs and its versatility. It is worth adding that it was produced under license in Argentina.
