C2P is a Polish light artillery tractor with tracked traction from the interwar period and World War II. The first prototypes of the vehicle were made in 1933, and serial production continued in the period 1937-1939, ending with the production of about 320 examples. C2P was powered by an engine FIAT-122B with 46 HP. The vehicle did not have any permanent weapons. Along with the slow motorization and mechanization of the Polish Army at the turn of the 1920s and 1930s, it was decided to increase the mobility of Polish anti-aircraft and anti-tank artillery by using completely new tracked tractors in some units. The task of their development was entrusted to the Military Institute of Engineering Research. When creating the new vehicle, it relied first on the chassis of the TK-3 tankette, and then the TKS tankette. Finally, a very successful design with high mobility and maneuverability was created, which works well in difficult terrain and with a sufficient maximum speed. The advantage was also the compactness and low silhouette of the vehicle, which greatly facilitated masking. C2P vehicles were used in the September campaign in 1939, and afterwards a small number of them were used by the Wehrmacht.
