4TP (another designation: PZInż. 140) was a prototype Polish light tank from the interwar period and the early stage of World War II. The only prototype of the vehicle was created in 1937, but the tank never entered mass production. The tank was powered by a PZInż carburetor engine. 425 with 95hp. Ultimately, its armament was to be a single 20mm wz.38FK MG gun and a single wz. 30 caliber 7.92 mm. Tank 4TP was developed on the initiative of engineer Edward Habich - head of the Department of Studies at PZInż. The new tank was to be a reconnaissance tank, with as much maneuverability as possible, which would replace the TK and TKS tankettes. Until May 1939, the car underwent the last field tests, which showed high mechanical reliability and good off-road properties of the new tank. However, the command of the Polish Army considered the design not promising and decided not to implement the vehicle into mass production. It is worth adding that a prototype of the floating vehicle PZInż.130 was also developed on the basis of the 4TP tank. The 10TP is a prototype Polish high-speed tank with a wheeled-tracked chassis from the interwar period and World War II. The drive was to be provided by a single gasoline engine with 210 horsepower, and the target one - 240 hp. The only prototype of the vehicle was probably created in 1937. The car never entered mass production. The tank was armed with a single 37mm Bofors wz. 37 gun and two 7.92mm wz. 30 machine guns. In 1936, analytical and testing work began in Poland on the usability in Polish conditions of tanks with Christie's suspension, i.e. tanks that allowed the vehicle to move on both wheels and tracks. The only vehicle of this type was manufactured at Państwowe Zakłady Inżynierii (PZInż), which was probably subjected to field trials in the period 1937-1939. In the course of these tests, it turned out that the 10TP prototype is a highly emergency vehicle, and the biggest problems were the wheel-track traction. For this reason, the project was discontinued in favor of the 14TP car. Probably the only one built of the 10TP was lost in the course of battles with Germany during the September campaign in 1939.
