The Focke-Wulf Fw-19 Ente (German: duck) was a German experimental aircraft from the interwar period. The drive was provided by two motors Siemens Sh 14 with 110 HP each. The flight of the prototype took place in September 1927 - the machine was never mass-produced. Only two copies of this plane were built. Focke-Wulf Fw-19 was created to test in flight the advantages and disadvantages of the so-called layout of the duck. The machine was a high-wing, on the wings of which two single nacelles with motors were placed. The wings were clearly set back to the rear of the plane. The relatively short and simple fuselage allowed to take up to three passengers on board and the pilot who sat in the open cockpit. The first one crashed in 1927, while the second one was flew in the early 1930s and after a series of trials and tests, it went on numerous flights to European cities. Later, it was displayed at the German Technical Museum in Berlin, where it was destroyed in an air raid in 1944.
