The Avia B-35 is a Czechoslovakian fighter from the late 1930s. In 1936, the designers of the Avia plant began work on the construction of a modern low-wing fighter. At an exhibition in Prague in 1937, the factory showed a model of the aircraft marked B-35. The first prototype was flown in 1938. As the 12 Y-1000 engine was not yet ready, the Hispano-Suiza 12 Ydra engine from the Avia B-534 was used. Due to the delay in the design of the retractable undercarriage, the prototype received a fixed undercarriage. The prototype achieved high speed and showed good flight characteristics. In 1939 a second prototype was created, designated B-35.2, and after the fall of Czechoslovakia, in August 1939. the third, on which the Messier retractable landing gear was already mounted. This prototype, designated B-35.3, became the model for the improved version of the B-135. 12 aircraft of this version were delivered in 1942. Bulgaria. The B-35 fighter is a single-seat, low-wing, mixed design with an elliptical wing. Technical data: Maximum speed: 495 km / h, maximum ceiling 8,500 m, maximum range: 500 km, armament: fixed - 1 Oerlikon 20mm cannon, 2 machine guns 7.92mm.
