General Aviation GA-43 Clark (other designations: Pilgrim 150 or Fairchild 150) was an American passenger plane in the low wing configuration, with the classic landing gear - retractable in flight. The flight of the prototype took place in 1932, and a total of 5 examples of this machine were built. The plane was 13.31 meters long with a wingspan of 16.15 meters. The drive was provided by a single Wright R-1820 engine with a power of up to 712 HP. The maximum speed was up to 340 km / h, and the flight range - up to 1090 kilometers. The GA-43 aircraft was designed by Virginius Clark - a pioneer of military aviation in the USA, an air force officer in this country, as well as an aviation engineer and constructor. The plane, although successfully flown already in 1932, entered production only in 1934 due to financial and ownership turmoil in which the company overseeing the entire project fell. General Aviation GA-43 was an aircraft capable of carrying 10 passengers, distinguished by the extensive equipment of the pilot's cabin with communication and flight safety means. The plane, however, did not achieve commercial success, and single units went to: Spain, Colombia and Switzerland.
