Orcs are a fictional race of humanoid creatures that is confirmed in Anglo-Saxon folklore from the early Middle Ages, to mention at least one of the greatest works of Anglo-Saxon literature of the Middle Ages, "Beowoulf". The Orcs will also appear in the pages of JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings series, where they are portrayed as aggressive, sly, visually repulsive, but also robust and possessing considerable physical strength. If we try to generalize, we can say that the Orcs are similar in shape to humans - they also have two arms and two legs - but they have much longer arms, and their skin is often green in color, but sometimes their skin is gray, black or brown. They also very often have powerful fangs. Orcs are scavengers who, however, do not despise fresh meat from animals or humans. They are very often depicted as an intellectually restricted race, with a highly primitive culture, which in various fantasy works or movies is guided by characters or races more advanced in development. At the same time, the Orcs can be good fighters who, under the appropriate command, will fight bravely and hard.Amazons is the name of a mythical tribe made up of female warriors, which, according to Greek mythology was to inhabit the northern shores of the Black Sea or Thrace. Other legends say that they inhabited the foothills of the Caucasus in Asia Minor. The Amazons were supposed to be descended from the Greek god of war Ares and the nymph of Harmonia. It is assumed that the Amazons saw men as inferior to themselves and either killed their sons or gave them back to their fathers. From a young age, they were trained as warriors and subjected to careful and hard training. By the way - a parallel can be found here with the Spartan upbringing called agoge. Amazons, on the battlefield, were characterized by very good training, high morale and great mastery of fencing, archery and horse riding. Greek myths often say that Amazons removed one of their breasts so that it would not interfere with their use of weapons. One of the most famous amazons was Hippolytus.
