The Honda RS250RW (another designation: Honda NSR250) is a Japanese racing motorcycle that is manufactured by a subsidiary of the Honda concern - Honda Racing Corporation. The RS250RW model was first presented to the public in 1985, and its production started at the same time and continued until 2009. The RS250RW model was developed and put into production as a kind of development and modernization of Honda motorcycles: the RS250R and - to a much lesser extent - the NS500. The new motorcycle was powered by a 250cc liquid-cooled 2-cylinder engine. It was also more technologically advanced than the RS250R, which was also a racing bike, but offered to private drivers and teams competing in GP races. The RS250RW model was characterized by very good performance, great maneuverability and good grip. Beyond all doubt, the Honda RS250RW turned out to be a very successful motorcycle - probably the best in its class at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries! Drivers taking part in it won the title of World Champion 11 times in the period 1985-2009, among them were: Freddie Spencer, Max Biaggi and Dani Pedrosa. The motorcycle, in the NSR250R version, was also approved for regular road traffic.
