The Honda Beat is a Japanese roadster passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1991. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 1996. About 33,500 copies of this car were produced in the course of it. In the company's offer it was replaced by the S660 model. The Beat model did not have a direct predecessor in the Honda Motor Company offer, and was developed in order to engage in a market battle with cars like the Suzuki Cappuccino or Mazda Autozam AZ-1. When creating this model, a lot of emphasis was placed on its styling, for which the Italian design office Pininfarina was jointly responsible - the same one that very often cooperates with Ferrari. The car was dedicated primarily to the Japanese market, and the company wanted to position it as the so-called kei car, which is a very small car with a small engine, which allowed you to pay low taxes in the Land of the Rising Sun. This meant that the Hodna Beat weighed only 760 kilograms and was powered by a 0.66 liter engine! It is worth adding that the Beat model was the last one approved for production by the company's founder - Soichiro Honda.
