The Delta Force FAV (Fast Attack Vehicle) or Desert Patrol Vehicle is an American off-road vehicle that entered service in the early 1990s. The truck is powered by a single 2-liter 200 HP engine. They have now been largely replaced by Light Strike Vehicles (LSVs), but are still in service. The vehicles can carry various types of light weapons, such as the 7.62 mm M2 or M60 machine guns or the Mk.19 grenade launcher. The Desert Patrol Vehicle was used in combat, among others, during the Gulf War in 1990-1991.
