Leichte Schienenpanzer Steyer K 2670 is a German, self-propelled armored draisine from the Second World War. The own weight of the draisine was 8 tons, and the thickness of its armor did not exceed 14.5 mm. The drive was provided by a single 76 HP Steyer combustion engine, which allowed to reach a maximum speed of 70 km / h. The Steyer K 2670 was classified as a light, self-propelled armored draisine. It was used for reconnaissance and patrol tasks in anti-partisan actions in the territories occupied by the Third Reich - especially intensively in the Balkans (after 1941). Each of this type of draisines had a radio station with a large antenna, allowing for good communication. Most often, the Steyer K 2670 draisines were combined into trains with 10 draisines in each train.
