Tatra T18 was a Czechoslovak armored draisine from the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single 12 HP Tatra T-12 carburetor engine. The first prototypes were created in 1925, and shortly after that, serial production began, which led to the creation of about 15 armored draisines of this type. The vehicle was armed with two 7.92 mm MG08 or wz.25 machine guns. The Tatra T18 armored draisine was based on the chassis of the Tatra T14 cargo draisine. It is possible that the work was initiated by the Polish branch of Tatra called Tatra Auto Warszawa. Work on the new draisine proceeded very quickly, and the Polish Army turned out to be the main recipient. However, in the end, the draisine turned out to be not very successful. First of all, due to the use of an engine with far too low maximum power, which had a terrible effect on the trolley's performance - especially acceleration and top speed. Despite attempts to modernize these vehicles, they were unsuccessful. During the September campaign in 1939, several draisines of this type were assigned to the PP13 and PP15 armored trains.
