The Dodge M37 is an American military all-terrain vehicle from the Cold War period. The first prototype examples of this vehicle appeared in 1950, and serial production continued in 1951-1968. Approximately 115,000 cars of this type were produced in its course. The drive was provided by a single engine Dodge T-245 with 78 HP. The Dodge M37 was created as a development of the very successful off-road vehicles from the WC series from the Second World War. The main change compared to the prototypes was the use of a different drive unit. strengthening the structure and the mechanical refinement of the entire structure, which made the M37 a low-failure vehicle. Based on the M37, many specialized versions were created, such as: M42 (command car), M43 (ambulance), R2 (fire truck for airport service) or V-126 (chassis for AN / MPX-7 radar). Dodge M37 cars were used very intensively during the Korean War (1950-1953) and in the initial period of the Vietnam War (1964 / 1965-1975). In the 1970s, they were gradually replaced by the M715 and M880 cars.
