The Cadillac Gage V100 is an American wheeled armored transport belonging to the Cadillac Cage Commnado series of cars, currently produced by Textron Marine and Land System. The first prototypes of this series were made in 1963, and a year later, serial production began, which lasted until around 2000. The drive in the V100 version was provided by a single Chrysler V8 gasoline engine with 191 HP. The Cadillac Gage V100 was designed from the outset to be a lightweight all-wheel drive armored car that was as simple and cheap to run as possible. The V100 had good performance, especially the maximum speed, which reached 100 km / h. The armor provided the crew only with protection against small-caliber shells up to 7.62 mm in caliber and smaller artillery fragments. The armament was concentrated in a rotating turret and most often consisted of a machine gun with a caliber of up to 12.7 mm. Up to 12 soldiers could enter the vehicle - including the crew. The Cadillac Gage V100 was used during the Vietnam War (1964 / 1965-1975). It was also exported to many countries around the world, including Bolivia, Guatemala and Singapore.
