Ключевые слова #126P
The Polish Fiat 126p, popularly known as the Maluch, is a Polish lower-middle class passenger car, called by the propaganda of the Polish People's Republic a "family car". It was first presented to a wide audience in 1973. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1973-2000. About 3.3 million copies of this car were produced in Poland, which makes it the most numerous car produced in our country in the years 1945-1989. Undoubtedly, Fiat 126p is one of the greatest Polish automotive legends of the 20th century. The Polish Fiat 126p was developed with the ambitious goal of motorizing Poland. From the very beginning it was planned as a relatively cheap car and easy to manufacture and use. Its design was based on a license purchased in Italy, and the Small Car Factory (FSM) in Bielsko-Biała was built from scratch in 1972 for its production. In the course of long production, it underwent numerous modernizations and more or less experimental body versions were created, to mention, for example: convertible, station wagon, pick-up (with its own name Bombel) and finally vehicles constructed on the basis of Fiat 126p, such as the Wszędołaz or the Light Terrain Vehicle. Ultimately, in the Fiat Maluch offer it was replaced by the Cinquecento model.
