The Fordson WOT-2 is a British military truck from World War II. The first prototypes of these cars appeared in 1939, and the production of serine began in the same year, which continued until 1945. Approximately 60,000 trucks of this type were built in its course. The total weight of the cart was 3.4 tons, its length - 4.5 meters, with a width of 2 meters. The drive was provided by a single engine with a power of 60 HP. The Fordson WOT-2 was developed at the beginning of World War II as the smallest in a series of trucks intended for the British Army. Interestingly, the WOT vehicles were designed from the beginning as cars intended for the armed forces, and their production took place at the Ford plant in Dagenham, hence the term Fordson. In the course of production, minor changes and design improvements were constantly made, which were expressed by the use of markings from A to H (for example: WOT-2D). However, all of them were characterized by a simplified design and ease of mass production. At the same time, they were rather reliable and were used by the British Army until 1950. instruction.pdf
